Doric Cinema (centre left) stood on Station Road from 1920 until 1961 but sadly very few photos exist of this building. This picture dates from the 1950s.

Barclays Bank has been serving Chingford customers for over 90 years from its impressive building in Station Road. Its doors will close for the last time on 5th June 2020. This photo is from 1926.
